We spent a lot of time outside, by the creek, in the pasture right here by the house. It won't be long before cows will be turned into it, so we're taking advantage of every opportunity we get to spend time there before that happens. Buddy is especially fond of "fishing" and while the rest of us go playing in the water he sits patiently on the bank, with a stick, trying to catch something.
On the days when it rained, and we had to stay indoors, Buddy wanted to do "school" I'm glad he really enjoys learning and doing. Hoping he'll keep that love all through his school years, and beyond.
The girls made a small batch of homemade butter. It was a treat for all of us.
What would childhood be without a swing? The girls built this one themselves. It's not the best, but it has provided hours of fun.
The first spring, after we got married, LV presented a lovely bouquet of flowers to me that he had created from the abundance of umbrella plants. I had seen those plants all my life and never realized they produce lovely flowers.
Keeping with tradition, this week brought the annual umbrella flower bouquet. It looks even more lovely in real life.
