Praising

   Sometimes life hands you something you really don't want to deal with. Response to those type of things can vary a lot for different people.
    I chose to not share the particular issue I was fighting, with others. Maybe because I didn't want to think about it more than necessary. I chose instead to really focus on the ones I love the most. Life is short and memories we make are precious.
     This past week one of my cousins and her Pastor husband came to visit. They had left the Amish some months before we had under very similar circumstances, so we have a lot in common. It was great visiting and catching up with each other's lives.
     I couldn't quite hide what I was dealing with, while they were here. They asked if they could pray for healing. Of-course I accepted.
     That issue has been healed. Completely removed. It is so nice to be pain free. I have been going to bed praising God. Waking up in the morning with great thankfulness. God is good. All the time. I had peace either way, but I'm so thankful He answered the prayers.
      The little notes and birthday e-cards I had scheduled to be delivered over the next two years to our children ...... I'll leave them scheduled and as they arrive I'll simply take them as another reminder to praise God.

  2. Praise God INDEED for HIS healing on your behalf! God performed a healing miracle for us just over 4 years ago as well... My beloved husband of 32 years now is one of the very few people to survive Pancreatic Cancer.
    {statistics show only 2-5% of people survive this one... but as we know, God has the final say so.}
    He is cancer free... God IS Good... ALL THE TIME.

  7. So glad you are better! I was going blind at one time and I had accepted it and then I was healed...sometimes I think the accepting is where the peace comes in...the rest is just gravy! Happy for you!

  10. so glad you have worked through your issue. i wish i could find an answer to my hubby's issue, i have at a total loss, but i guess a positive to it all i have found i am one heck of a super woman, i can handle so much more than i ever realized, i walk on with God holding my hand, but i have no clue where or what is ahead, i wish i had a clue as to how much longer before i see a light within this tunnel. i am feeling i am aging quick than i want to. i went to a good friends 90th bday party this past weekend, & i saw how a lady could keep marching through her journey never giving up, she has lost 3 children due to such rough times, her husband past, she is the only one left, but she has family, friends & so many amazing people she has helped or left a huge footprint on their hearts, she is an amazing lady, so tough, such a beautiful spirit. i hope i can become half of what she has done or will continue to do until her life on this world, & move on to her heavenly life. wow wee, maybe it was a moment for me to realize i can keep going. i know i can, but it is tough. thanks for listening & thank you for your comment today, i appreciate it so much you have no idea. thank you!! have a great week & please come back when you can. take care. 1. Isn't it a comfort to know, that even though we don't know what the future holds .... we know who holds the future.

      Prayers for you and your husband.

  14. Do you mean that you were facing something that was life-threatening? Either way, I am thankful for all of the ways that God made His presence known through your trial and for your transparency in sharing. We serve an amazing "Jehovah Rapha."
