Reading ... in the Bible I am in Revelation.

In other books.

Deep breath.

Last year I read quite a few classics from a list our library composed for a challenge. Some of them I enjoyed, others were a miserable reading experience.

I decided this year I won't be reading as many, but I put War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy on my to be read list, basically telling myself if I make it through this behemoth I won't have to feel pressure to read any other classics unless I truly want to. I'm ready for chapter sixteen and so far have not begun enjoying it. I can only hope at some point it gets better.

Writing ...  other than messages in various apps, random notes for myself, lists, etc. nothing that exciting.

Watching ... Sharon's little icon on Life 360 as she drives to Rosie's house after working night shift again last night. She's hoping to have a nice long nap, and then have some quality sister time once again.

Listening ... to the various commonly heard sounds here in my little corner of the world. A vehicle passing the house, the refrigerator humming (it isn't the most quiet of hummers), the neighbor's rooster, and a dog barking in the distance.

Baking ... I am hoping to bake a chocolate cake this week. The family has all been hinting at how they would really enjoy a piece. It has been quite a while since the last time we had cake, so I want to remedy that.

Cooking ... yesterday was a day that afforded many, many memorable moments that one hopes to be able to forget. With a heads up that LV would be home quite late because of some repairs that had to be made first we opted to have simple tuna melts as a late supper before going to bed.

Feeling ... eager to start our day. We're hoping to get a little hiking done, see some special to us people, and pick up a few anticipated books from the library.

Disliking ... my winter coat. It's delightfully warm, but I always feel like a giant overripe blueberry when I wear it. I don't completely dislike it, because I'm always glad to have it when we go hiking in cold weather.

Loving ... waterfalls.

We are hoping to visit some today,

This was one we visited last week.

Playing ...  it has been quite the week, but even so we managed to squeeze in at least one game per day. Steven's favorite (MtG) was played every day. In addition we also played Fruit Punch and on Wednesday I got to play The Old Shoe Game with our grandson.

Cleaning ... the daily dozen was basically the extent of my cleaning this week.
