As a child, lazy summer afternoons were perfect for lying in the grass and watching the clouds. My brothers and I enjoyed seeing all the different things you could spot in them.

I still enjoy trying to see things in the clouds. This one appears to me to be a hand reaching for something.
This next one provided me with a number of different pictures. A taco, the spout and part of a teapot, a man's face with his mouth open, a possible elephant trunk.
Apparently I am easily entertained.

I did the same thing as a child and have such fond memories of those cloud encounters.
ReplyDeleteCloud watching ... yes I did that as a child. Sometimes I still watch the clouds, but I do not see many with pictures in them any more - I wonder if it's the clouds or me, because even before reading, I saw pictures in your clouds. No book containing cloud-watching surfaced in my mind.
ReplyDeletePerfect! I take so many cloud photos, I love them.

ReplyDeleteI love cloud watching. I used to do it all the time and also take photos whenever I see an interesting pattern there. In the second photo, I think I see goofy on the right or perhaps goofy's dog.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Oh I haven't watched clouds for a very long time. I might get the grands to do that soon. If the rain and cold ever leave us.
ReplyDeleteApparently the human brain instinctively looks for recognizable patterns.
