Little Giveaway

Am I the only one who has finally learned to write 2011 and is now trying to grasp the fact that it's already December?

With Christmas just around the corner I'm happy to say that my shopping is done. Most of it from the comfort of our home.  When ordering I happened to get an extra one of these sweet Memory games. Each set of pictures seems to be cuter than the next. And while I'm sure I could find a child who would enjoy it I decided to give you an opportunity to win one for yourself or to give it away.

If you would like to have one of these all you have to do is leave a comment telling me what you see when you look out your kitchen window.

To be entered twice post a link to this giveaway on your blog and then come back and leave another comment telling me that you did.

I will be drawing a winner using the Random generator on Monday Dec. 5th.

Disclaimer: The only compensation I receive from doing this giveaway is the warm fuzzy feeling I get from knowing someone else will get to enjoy this game.

  3. What sweet cards! I remember playing that with my children and now I'd love to play it with those cards with my 2 1/2 yr old grand daughter.
When I look out my kitchen window, it's hard to look past the bird feeder that hangs close by. Beautiful Cardinals eating away. Beyond that I see the woods from atop my bluff with the river and a lake below.

  7. When I look out of my kitchen window I see the parking lot and the emergency room! Not very picturesque. But there are some trees and very often there will be squirrels playing in them and on the power lines.

  8. Out the window I see a pile of wood for the fireplace, the chicken pen, our garden of greens, onions strawberries, and cabbage. The sun
shining through and a beautiful day the Lord has given us.

  9. In the summer, I see a beautiful array of flowers and trees and fluttering creatures of all kinds. Today, it is a sight of bare branches and cars flitting to and fro in the neighborhood.

  10. Another giveaway - how nice of you. The cards are adorable!

When I look out the back kitchen window I see my garden area, the chicken coop, chickens and beyond that the neighbor's cows.
I see three sugar maple trees in a row when I look out the double windows above the sink on the side of our house. Just past the trees is a one-acre fenced pasture where our Golden Retrievers romp & play.

  12. I see our carpenter shop and tractors. It looks like it's going to snow. I hope so!

  13. What a darling game! I know a little girl who would just love seeing that in her stocking at Christmas.

Out my kitchen window is currently a lot of chaos. We had a huge wind storm last night, so everything in the yard got blown about, and my neighbors' garbage can's contents now decorate the entire street. That isn't going to be much fun to clean up.

  14. When I look out my kitchen window I see finches eating at our bird feeders and my neighbors dogs out in her yard.

  15. When I look out the kitchen window I see the mountain behind our house, with patches of snow; the leafless trees; an old metal swing set, the fire pit; and my cat sitting in the horseshoe pit.

Thanks for doing this giveaway! :) Sounds like fun.

    In Christ,

I see where my daughters swing set use to be; sometimes I see squirrel visiting and playing and gathering walnuts that have fallen from the walnut tree; past the yard a bit is the pasture and I can see the pond, cows, baby calves, and horses. Oh to live in the country and enjoy God's creation at it's best! Love it!!!

Outside my kitchen window I see..... paddocks, the roof of our haybarn... trees... the mountain... traffic driving along the road in the distance... horse jumps... chook shed... our letter box... sometimes our cows grazing... our pet lamb... sometimes the horses... our drive way... my daughter waiting for the school bus to pick her up...

  29. i see our backyard, small but roomy for being right in town, surrounded by neighboring fences. i see the hole left by the six pines my neighbor had chopped down where my children loved to play. but beyond that i see the hillside and a stretch of the blue ridge parkway....one of my favorite places to be.

  31. In our old neighborhood, with small close-together houses, I see my neighbor's home out my kitchen window. The current residents do not like to spend time doing household chores, so the place looks more and more neglected. Every clear evening, though, the sun sets behind their roof - so, as I'm at the window doing my kitchen chores, I get to see that beautiful sight.

  32. I don't have a window in my kitchen, but I can see into the backyard through my living room. I can see the raised bed gardens we are working on that I am looking forward planting in the spring.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  35. I see our backyard. My clotheline, Apple trees and sometimes our Australian Shepherd, Chloe.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Standing at my kitchen sink, I can see through the dining room windows. I see our backyard, our very first garden, the kids' swingset, and our asian pear tree with only one bright yellow leaf left on it! :)

    ReplyDelete
  37. When I look out my kitchen window I see our new pool and deck, where we spent so much time this summer, all covered and ready for winter.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I recognize the images on the cards as ones from a couple of books that we have about Danny and Sarah. I wonder if these are from the GVS catalog. Anyway, on to the prompt. I have two windows, but the ones that I look out primarily shows me the waterfall from the stream that passes our house off in the distance. There is a driveway that cuts in front to the hardware store next door. What we call the hedgerow comes next and is a series of trees and shrubs the children like to play in. Finally, there is our yard and porch. Now that winter is here (almost), I frequently see one of our barn kitties resting in a ball on top of the wood pile directly under that window.

  39. I have mentioned your giveaway on my blog :) Thank you.

  40. I see our redwood tree. It's so big now. When we planted it, it was so small we weren't sure how it would fare. I also see a pretty bush, not sure what kind, but in the spring and throughout the summer it has blooms. Also in the spring and summer there are flowers there. Now, since it's winter, I see the evergreen bushes, the grass (what's left of it), and the "twigs" where all the leaves used to be. I can also see the neighbor's house, but I prefer to look at nature :) In the winter, when there's snow, the cardinals look beautiful sitting on the snow covered evergreen bushes

  41. The closest thing I see outside my kitchen window is the top of our back fence - with an occasional squirrel running across it. Most of all I see our neighbor's house, which is about 20 feet away. However, if I look a little to the left, I can see part of a beautiful maple, which turns the most glorious shade of red in the fall.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Unfortunately, I only see a hedge!

  43. Our kitchen has no windows, but opens to the sunroom which has windows all across the south and east sides. I see our garden which still has gorgeous flowering kale which I have not figured out how to put in arrangements. We also are surrounded on three sides by fields-corn or soybeans-depending on the rotation for that year. Right now, however, they are cleared and brown. Today was a beautiful sunny day and all of outside looks wonderful when the sun is shining. Oh, I also see our big apple trees with the turtle sandbox underneath that the grandkids play in, in the warmer weather. Blessings to all.

  46. Out my kitchen window I see a patch of sky, a snippet of a small mountain, & the very large, beige side of my neighbor's house, along with a view of various backyards. I don't much care for the view from there, but our living room view features beautiful sunsets!

  52. The world was white outside our kitchen window as dawn broke this morning. Frozen fog covered each tree branch, each late-blooming flower, each blade of grass, every hanging basket filled with red would-be poinsettias. Even the air was white, hiding all but the near edge of the field of corn. There was no sound - not even a hint of breeze - and the birds were still asleep.

  53. I look out onto my back patio, retaining wall and woods.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I see my daughters kitchen window and beyond her home a field with cows. Between my kitchen window and hers are a yard full of

  56. Oh how cute! When I look out my kitchen window(the one over the sink) I can see a corner of our carport, the side where I have a clothes line(smile) I can see the mountains in the distance and my husband's uncles cows grazing in the rolling pasture. Then I can see our unfinished side yard. We keep saying we're going to get it finished, but you know how that goes, other things keep coming up.:) This is where my sons have a fire pit and spend alot of evenings pretending to be camping in the wilderness. I guess you can tell it is grown up in tall weeds(smile) God Bless

  58. When I look out my kitchen window ~ I see 2 ferns that should have been put into the compost bin several weeks ago. And past that...leaves on the grass and some plants that need to be cut back.

The little cards are beautiful. Would be a great gift to put up for my little grandchild to be (will arrive July)

  59. First of all, I must say that I LOVE my kitchen window! This is our first home to actually have one, and I love being able to send my children out to play in our backyard while looking out my kitchen window occasionally to check on them or to be sweetly reminded of childhood.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I see our goats and chickens, our two barns and shed and our woodstove. They are all things that remind me of how God provides for our needs!

    ReplyDelete
  61. When I look out my kitchen window I see my barn, my husband's shop and usually my Jersey milk cow.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I see a gigantic rosebush, knee deep overgrown grass and or weed mixture peppered with various car parts and tools, with a rusty old boat trailer covered with vines and daisys growing amuck underneath. Occasionally a rabbit, gecko, squirrel, snake, or very large yellow and orange grasshopper ( at least I think it's a grasshopper ) visits the jungle we call a backyard.
