Giveaway Day!

Giveaway is now closed and a winner has been announced.

Sew Mama, Sew  hosts a fun giveaway day every May. I have enjoyed them for several years already and this year I decided to join the fun.

Today I'm giving away a fun little assortment of sewing supplies.
There's 2¼ yard lace. Seven fat quarters. A dozen Hello Kitty buttons as well as three cards of other buttons and two packs of iron on denim patches.

I'll keep it short and sweet since I know you have hundreds of other giveaways to enter.

To enter all you have to do is leave a comment telling me one of your favorite childhood books.

Winner will be chosen and notified on May 26th.

This giveaway is open to everyone.

I loved "little house in the big woods" and "on the banks of plum creek." the one in between, "little house on the prairie" just didn't appeal to me as much.

"Prayer for a Child" by Rachael Field. "Bless this milk and bless this bread. Bless my soft and waiting bed." I read it to rags, then read it to my daughters, and purchased one for each of them when they had children.

I would love to be entered in your giveaway....one of my all time favorite childhood books was "The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew." I still get a warm feeling inside remembering my mom reading to me from that book. Thanks for the giveaway.

Toriz said...

I've loved reading since I learned how at the age of three. Yes, I was three; I suppose it helped having older brothers in school by that point, and wanting to do "homework" because they were. You know what kids are like for wanting to do what the "big kids" are doing. ;)

Anyway, I rarely find a book I don't enjoy. I read Roald Dahl, Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton, Beatrix Potter, Hans Christian Anderson, and many others in my childhood, and still enjoy them today. But my absolute favourite book has always been "A Little Princess" - it's still my favourite today!

Tammi said...

I am a self-described book addict. My mother started me on this path, and because of this I could list pages upon pages of books I've enjoyed, but I won't. I will list some series: The Little House on the Prairie, and Anne of Green Gables, I enjoy reading these to my children, too. My girls (5 and 8) like the American Girl books.
