I love the 3 investigators. So cool.
I loved "little house in the big woods" and "on the banks of plum creek." the one in between, "little house on the prairie" just didn't appeal to me as much.
"Prayer for a Child" by Rachael Field. "Bless this milk and bless this bread. Bless my soft and waiting bed." I read it to rags, then read it to my daughters, and purchased one for each of them when they had children.
Ity Bity Raindrop was my favorite book
I loved reading the old Nancy Drew stories, Little House on the Prairie books and books about the lives of saints (I was in Catholic School gr 1-5). Looking at what I read I really read quite an assortment. Take care...Sharon
I would love to be entered in your giveaway....one of my all time favorite childhood books was "The Five Little Peppers and How They Grew." I still get a warm feeling inside remembering my mom reading to me from that book. Thanks for the giveaway.
I've loved reading since I learned how at the age of three. Yes, I was three; I suppose it helped having older brothers in school by that point, and wanting to do "homework" because they were. You know what kids are like for wanting to do what the "big kids" are doing. ;)
Anyway, I rarely find a book I don't enjoy. I read Roald Dahl, Charles Dickens, Enid Blyton, Beatrix Potter, Hans Christian Anderson, and many others in my childhood, and still enjoy them today. But my absolute favourite book has always been "A Little Princess" - it's still my favourite today!
I am a self-described book addict. My mother started me on this path, and because of this I could list pages upon pages of books I've enjoyed, but I won't.
