After The Interview

I can't remember when my tongue ever felt closer to a piece of cotton than it did yesterday afternoon in the last minute or so before my interview started with author and radio host Suzanne Woods Fisher.

She was very sweet and after my initial moments of panic I was almost able to forget I was on air and it seemed more as if I was talking to a friend. Which proved to be much friendlier for my tongue!

If you would like to to listen you can visit http://toginet.com/shows/amishwisdom  and listen to the podcast.

  1. I only got the last 15 minutes and so I will listen to all of it. Honestly I expected your voice to sound sort of Dutchified beings you came from the Amish. But there wasn't a trace of it.

  2. I listened to it all this morning when I got up.It was nice to hear the voice that goes with your writing! I enjoyed it and would have liked to hear more about you.I found it sad when you talked about not having contact with your parents though. That must be the hardest thing about leaving the order.Well done though. You had great courage.I don't think I could have answered so many questions.I'll look forward to reading your book when you get it published!! ;)
