I can't remember when my tongue ever felt closer to a piece of cotton than it did yesterday afternoon in the last minute or so before my interview started with author and radio host Suzanne Woods Fisher.
She was very sweet and after my initial moments of panic I was almost able to forget I was on air and it seemed more as if I was talking to a friend. Which proved to be much friendlier for my tongue!

14 Joyful Thoughts:
I only got the last 15 minutes and so I will listen to all of it. Honestly I expected your voice to sound sort of Dutchified beings you came from the Amish. But there wasn't a trace of it.
I listened to it all this morning when I got up.It was nice to hear the voice that goes with your writing! I enjoyed it and would have liked to hear more about you.I found it sad when you talked about not having contact with your parents though. That must be the hardest thing about leaving the order.Well done though. You had great courage.I don't think I could have answered so many questions.I'll look forward to reading your book when you get it published!! ;)
You did great. Very enjoyable. Loved your stories. I think a book would be awesome.

I completely LOVED the interview. My children listened in too and were even more interested in the lives of others, especially the Amish. I appreciate you posting the link to the interview! It helps to put a voice to the writings! :)
