Wednesday Hodgepodge
A mixture of both. Those who know me well say my face is somewhat of an open book. Something I'm not too thrilled about at times.
2. How did you meet your closest friend?
Other than LV, my closest friend in real life I met at a homeschool co-op.
I have another very close friend whom I've never met, this friendship started via email following Sunbeam's accident almost six years ago.
3. Pink lemonade, grilled salmon, cotton candy, pink grapefruit, a strawberry milkshake, or raspberry sorbet...of the pink foods listed, which one is your favorite? Least favorite? Which one have you most recently consumed?
Pink lemonade. My favorite drink, other than water during the summer.
My least favorite would have to be the raspberry sorbet. I don't care for anything raspberry flavored.
4. When were you last 'tickled pink' over something? Explain.
It doesn't take much to get me 'tickled pink' The last time was probably last evening when I discovered I have a package of chicken breasts in the freezer.
5. Are you a fan of television talk shows? Daytime, nighttime, or both? What's your favorite?
I am not a fan of television talk shows. I don't watch any. With so many books out there to read, and so very many things I enjoy doing, I simply don't have the time or inclination to watch any.
6. When was the last time you wanted to ask a question, but felt too foolish to do so?
Nothing comes to mind right now. Most of the time I blurt out what ever questions I may have and only stop to think about them afterwards.
7. My favorite __________________right now is _________________.
My favorite color right now is white, sparkling white to be exact. There's not much that is prettier than a lovely layer of white snow, glistening in the sun.
8. Insert your own random thought here.
Buddy loves puzzles and spends hours every day with this puzzle book. It contains five 48 piece puzzles. He has no problem doing them. I'm happy he enjoys quiet activities, it makes school time and concentrating on some writing projects I have going so much easier.

I agree...a blanket of white is beautiful! We have a lot on the ground right now, and I especially love to see all the animal tracks across the yard. We have a lot of woods, and this time of year, we can see exactly where the animals have been. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about one's face being an open book...
ReplyDeletePutting together 48 piece puzzles is quite impressive! You may have a budding genius there :)
It's nice to see that kids love puzzles still, I know I was obsessed with them growing up. Looks like he might be graduating to some bigger puzzles soon too :)
ReplyDeleteI do love the look of freshly fallen snow when the sunlight causes it to glisten. Kudos to Buddy for putting together a 48-piece puzzle. That's no easy task!
ReplyDeleteI have worked in the medical field most of my adult life, and have a *really* bad habit of asking people the same questions in public that I'd be apt to ask in the office. We've been going to the same church for 40 years, so the old-timers are used to me. Sometimes The Squire will be able to tell where I am headed, and put his hand on mine to warn me off. Better than putting it over my mouth, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI met my best friend in 1968 at the church I attended when my late and unlamented husband was still alive. I don't think I'd have survived without her. We are like an old married couple, finishing each other's sentences, etc.
Our snow is all gone right now and I like that. My dream is to live somewhere warm. My face also seems to let everyone know what I'm thinking. Sometimes that's not so great. :-). I love that your little guys does puzzles. All three of our children loved to do puzzles too. I miss it.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Bets
Fresh snow is beautiful if it doesn't last till it gets dirty and messy! Your little guy sure is growing!
ReplyDeleteOh, me too! I don't get the pull of talk shows, but I do like some Reality TV so I guess it's not any better. LOL I tend to spend my time chatting with faraway friends on Facebook, crocheting or reading instead...and in the summer months photography and gardening. If I could I'd send you some of OUR snow! We've gotten over 4 FEET in the last 12 days. :sigh:
