It's the Little things ~ Giveaway

I love all the little things that make life sweeter. There are so very many of them if I only take time to stop and realize. And recently when I discovered these cute little dish detergent bottle aprons I knew they would brighten up my kitchen and make me smile when ever I see them.
Since I like them so well I decided that today I will be giving one away.

If you would like to have one of these all you have to do is leave a comment telling me one of the simple little things that help make your life sweeter.

For a second entry place a link to this giveaway on your blog and then come back and leave another comment telling me that you did.

I will be choosing a winner, using Random generator on Tuesday July 5.

Winner will be given the choice which of these two little aprons they would like to have.

Disclaimer: The only compensation I receive from doing this giveaway is the warm fuzzy feeling I get from knowing that someone else will get to enjoy one of these.

Giveaway is now closed and a winner has been chosen.

  2. I'll not be entering, though those are precious and so cute. One of my favorite little things is a multiple ribbon bookmark. This gift allows me to keep several places -- one for my daily reading, another for Wednesday night studies, still another for Sunday School lessons, with some left over for following pastor during morning services. Each reminding me to spent time with God's word. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to put that into words.

  6. One of the simple little things that makes my life sweeter would be all the wiggly, creepy crawlies my sons bring me as 'gifts'. I know they mean well and honestly think I will be elated to hold their worm or rolly polly. I try to muster a grin and thank them for being SO thoughtful!

  7. I don't need to enter, just wanted to say I've always loved these things too. I got a couple when we got married 20 years ago, and have used them a lot over the years. I just had my Mom make me a couple more, because I loved them so much. :) They do add a little something to the bottle of soap, since I leave it out all the time. :)

  9. A cute item my daughter made me is a cover that fits over a plunger. It's covered completely and complete with a ribbon and bow!! Since I'm overseas and we at times need it, it's nice to have it decorated and sitting in a corner in the bathroom!

  14. I do not have a blog but I would like to agree with the other comments. The Lord and who He is makes me smile. My husbands sweet little acts of love, my children's concern for me, the words and laughter of my grandchildren and the selfless friendship I have with my two best friends, all help me to smile all day long. I have to add a memory that makes me laugh and that is a comment my grandson, then 3 yrs old, said to me, "Grammy you're not old, you're perfect." :-)

  21. Aunt Esther has used these for decades; they always make me smile when I visit her. She's a Godly woman, age 93 and still lives on her own, is frail as a hummingbird but her spirit is large!

  22. My relationship with God , although it is not a little thing makes me happy, for true happiness does not exist apart from Him. I also enjoy my family, and the great outdoors.

  27. One of my favorite simple joys is a day off work. Even though I work part time, I liked being home even more so when it's my day off (even if I have nothing planned) it just makes me happy. Those dish liquid covers are way too cute, by the way, they remind me of when I was younger and women used to have those. ♥

  40. The simple things that bring me joy are burning yummy smelling candles, eating sugar snap peas straight from the garden, finding money in the washing machine, watching hummingbirds drink from the feeder outside the window while doing the dishes, and sitting on the back porch in the evening with my husband while having a glass of iced tea.

I'm pretty sure that was a run-on sentence, but I couldn't choose just one thing. ;)
