In The Eyes of the Beholder

I was going through a pile of photos recently to get them sorted and put them into albums. I found this one of Sunbeam and put it on the reject pile.

Sunbeam was watching me and was absolutely thrilled when she saw this picture. Instead of seeing that red streak as a flaw she was sure it was light from Heaven shining down on her.

After seeing it through her eyes I had to put it into the album after all.

  1. Wait, isn't she called Sunbeam? Does that not appear to be a sunbeam? I agree -- keep it, and the story that goes with it!

  3. A friend's son always said, when seeing sunbeams shining down, "Look Ma, God is speaking!"

  8. What an amazing thought for a little girl to have!
At Easter time I was going through our 'not good enough for the album' photo piles with my 32 year old daughter. She wanted some family pics for the walls of the cafe she is opening. I was in serious trouble because I'd already thrown out some that she now wanted.(LOL)
My advice - keep 'em all and let the kids decide which are important when they are adults!
