How sweet! I love when I come across something one of my kids made when they were children...brings back such happy memories.
I love kids' craft projects! :)
My Mam still has stuff of mine that I made when I was little... Some Christmas decorations I made when I was in primary school (elementary school). She still puts them up at Christmas time... Even though I'm 26 now!
Sometimes my children ask me why I've saved the things I have. Until you have children, you cannot know how precious a little ones thoughts and gifts are.
Someday Rosie's gifts will be found and she may ask you why you kept those papers. I think your answer will be because a child's words and gifts fill a Mother's heart with joy and love.
My "children" are in their 30s now but I still have things they made that I put on my Christmas tree. These treasures are getting tattered and look a bit shabby but the memories are precious so they go on our tree every year.

Delightful mementos to treasure for years.
How precious! My daughter is nearly 40 and I still have a bag crammed full of little drawings she made and every greeting card she's ever given me! Wish I could be around when she finds them one day! :)
These are just precious!! Of all the cards I have received in my life, it's those made by chubby little hands with jelly smears and erase marks that touch my heart so sweetly. They are keepers, just like these your Rosy has so lovingly created for you.
Happy Anniversary...That's some of the BEST art work around because it's created with love!
That is very sweet. I love the verses Rosy made up, and the sweet way she decorated. I have kept so many of the cards and pictures that my children have made for me over the years.
Last week I wasn't feeling well but I had to go work anyway. My husband was also not feeling well that day. One day we came home to find that our two youngest had surprised us with homemade get- well cards which they had lain on our pillows.
Children are such a blessing!
Such beautiful priceless gifts from the heart! I have some things my daughter made as a child...a very now dilapidated tissue Christmas Wreath that I hang each year. She was in kindergarten when she made it, also Christmas ornaments, cards, etc. the wreath and ornaments are hung each Christmas much to her horror. Now that she has three little ones 5, 4, and 2-1/2 she fully understands the value those items hold to me.
