Warm and Fuzzy

Running out to the mailbox to see what's inside as soon as the mailman leaves has been one of my favorite parts of the day ever since I was a little girl.

Today there was a letter tucked into the pile of springtime catalogs. I enjoyed reading it and then at the bottom one paragraph jumped out at me making warm fuzzies circle my heart.

I'm always happy to hear when people enjoy the Lily books. Knowing that they have become a welcome addition to bookshelves makes all the hours spent writing them very worthwhile!

  1. How sweet! And how rewarding for you as an author and as the reason for the Lilly books. To know that you're having an impact on people in their daily lives. I'm very happy for you.

  2. Absolutely agree with Betsy! We just got back from vacation and it was fun to find your 1st book on the rack at the Bird-in-Hand Bake Shop :-)

  3. I bet that is such a neat feeling - and knowing it's going to be affecting some little girl maybe 100 years from now has got to be so special. I'm glad you've written something that you can feel good about - and I know how hard you worked, so I'm very happy for you.

  5. I loved the first 2 Lily books, and now my 16-year-old has started Life with Lily. (This surprised me, since she usually goes for the science fiction/fantasy stuff.) But she seems to like it.

  7. I agree with all the previous posters. I checked the first Lily book out from the library - my daughter (22 yrs old, and an aspiring novelist herself)and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
