  2. What a cute way of blogging!! I hope your Thanksgiving is a lovely one. It's not how many people are around the table it's the love that's between them. Our Canadian Thanksgiving is,of course, long past but we were a much smaller group too. Stay well.

  3. On my blog today I told how our youngest son who lives in Japan is visiting his fiance in London. He has come up with the idea of us all eating our Thanksgiving dinner together virtually. We have a family WeChat group and we can video call on it. So we will be there at noon Spokane time, for our son in Montana it will be 1:00, our daughter in Nebraska it will be 2:00 and for our son in London it will be 8:00. Do you think we'll be able to do it? I sure hope so. We'll at least be able to see each other while we eat at our own homes. Last Thanksgiving we were all together and I haven't seen any of our kids since because of COVID. Alex and Tara were to be married in October but it has had to be postponed. Video is the next best thing to being together, but I sure would like to give them all a big hug in "real life".
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  4. With all three of our daughters living out-of-state, we've celebrating Thanksgiving alone for years. We've invited a fellow from our church to join us, as he's recently widowed, but he hasn't made up his mind.

  5. We are going to tough it out in Iowa. Three grown children and 1 grandson coming from out of town. We will be setting up in the open garage, distancing ourselves, outside if needed. It is supposed to be a balmy 47 degrees with light winds. We are dressing for a winter's day so we should do fine with our hot coffee and cocoa. A memorable Thanksgiving, for sure.

  6. Such a lovely idea...the little notes. We have had to readjust our plans for Christmas too.
