Cousins

Sailor enjoyed hiking with several of his cousins this weekend.

And I really enjoyed the time visiting with my sister-in-law.

It has been three years since their world was turned upside down when her husband passed away. A lot has changed since then and they're still adjusting to their new normal.

She shared some amazing stories of how God has been caring for them and answering prayers. Though we still don't understand why things happened as they did, we all agree that God is good, and He really does care for His children.

  2. Aww! How nice you all had a chance for a visit! I have praying for your sister-in-law and family on a daily basis since you first mentioned the passing of her husband. I am so glad to hear of answered prayers and God's great care. I don't always know how to pray, but I know that God hears and aligns our prayers with His will.

  6. I'm so glad you both had this time to visit and the boys had time to hike. I was remembering them in prayer the other day... wondering how they were doing. Yes, God is good and hears our prayers, even when we can't find the words to speak or even think. Our hearts speak for us in quiet times with Him. Thanks for sharing! Put some bricks on that boy's head!
