Our grandkids loved to play this game. Now, it's our dog who tunnels under the leaves and comes bounding out.
I grew up in the Midwest where we had LOTS of maple trees. I can still remember the smell of the leaves when playing in them. Such fun! Here in the mountains of the Northwest it's more evergreens and although I don't miss raking, I do miss the smells of autumn from my childhood.Blessings,Betsy
I was all smiles while reading this post....so cute....yes,to be a child again..just for a season would be fine indeed. Blessings to you and your littles sweet Mary Ann
Growing up, I had 4 maple trees in the front yard! You can imagine the fun with the neighborhood kids :-) When my husband and I bought our first house (kids were little) we found one with 7 maple trees..!!!! The neighborhood collected at our house for our "Falling Leaves" party every year!
Thank you so much for taking time to comment. I love hearing your thoughts.
