Things have been busy in our little corner of the world. But I have still managed to take a few pictures this past week.
The spring flowers are blooming nicely under the old maple tree in front of our house. I wish there was a way to make that you could smell them.A beautiful forenoon had a lot of people passing our house to get to the nearby hiking trail.
The children got up extra early and went outside to pick a bouquet of flowers for my birthday. I love, love simple gifts like that!
We have been having lots of rain this month. I like how steam rises from the fields after another rain has passed.
It's that time of year when a lot of new calves make their appearances. One of their favorite spots to hang out is near the waterfall.

ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you
The thought of them getting up early to get you flowers is quite touching. True,it is the simple things in life that brings us such great pleasure. Loving that you shared the picture of the children with the bouquet of flowers. Are you near enough to the waterfall to hear it from your home? Seems to me that would be such a peaceful / calming sound to hear.
ReplyDeleteSuch tranquil, idyllic country scenes. God's creations (nature, animals and the best of all....the children) are all very precious.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! And what a wonderful picture of your children. They appear to be quite happy, content and healthy, such a blessing. I like the waterfall, too.
ReplyDeleteThe views around your home are just beautiful..I love that waterfall! The most beautiful photo, though, is of your sweet children.
