I had never heard of using onion tops to keep mosquitoes away.
ReplyDeleteSadly I don't have any onion tops to use. Would green onion tops from the grocery store work?
I would say it's worth a try.

DeleteMosquitoes are nasty creatures. - What a bummer about the accident. People are often "not to bright" when it comes to thingsl ike that.
ReplyDeleteYou have to wonder how hard it really is to stay on the proper side of the road while driving.
DeleteI hate mosquitoes, too. My niece, who moved to Ireland in late May, says she hasn't seen a single mosquito there. I say Ireland is missing the boat by not targeting Americans for mosquito-free vacations.

DeleteI simply consider summer a ploy to get me outside where the bugs can get to me. The Squire and I have developed a system to get the clothes on the line in record time, so as to give the critters as little chance to reach us as possible.
