Earlier this year I finally got my first flexi clip and I love it! It's my favorite go to when ever I wear my hair up, not only is it pretty and feminine, it's comfortable too.
Today one of my friends has generously offered to give a medium sized flexi clip to a lucky reader.
For your chance to win al you have to do is leave a comment telling me if you have started planning your Thanksgiving menu already.
Sharing this post on your Facebook or blog and coming back and telling me you did will earn you a second entry.
I will be choosing the winner on Monday, November 3rd.
Giveaway is now closed and a winner has been chosen.
Sadly we don't have Thanksgiving in England, but I have started to work towards Christmas.
ReplyDeleteYes...back in October when we had it in Canada :)
ReplyDeleteWe pretty much do the same thing every year-that way my girls know what their part is to make it easier on their budget. I do the Turkey and Dressing (my great grandmother's recipe) and a dessert I can eat, (gluten and dairy free, but they eat it too) and they divide up the sides. I've ask them before if they want to change the menu, and everyone says, "no!". Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving. (And we also do the same for Christmas).
ReplyDeletehave not planned anything yet - but hoping first day of November will motivate me
ReplyDeleteI have a large one for holding my hair up, but now that it is sooooo cold here, I would love to try a smaller size for just holding it back off my face. Thank you for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteYes, I've started my Thanksgiving menu. We will have 20 people here. Now I'm watching for sales to start buying turkey and ham, cranberries and pumpkin.
I've never tried a flexi clip even though my hair is past my waist. I'd love to try one. Thanksgiving is our day of thanks, of course, and feast for the year. We always have turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed and sweet potatoes (casserole), broccoli casserole, sweet green peas, corn-on-the-cob, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie and cheesecake. Now I'm hungry. *sigh* :)
ReplyDeleteI have started planning what I will bring to Thanksgiving. We will be traveling from NY state to PA to celebrate with my husband's family. I will bring the usual pies. Probably pumpkin, apple and whatever other that my husband will convince me to make. I usually make a lemon merengue but I'm not sure that will keep well while traveling. The biggest thing is the day after thanksgiving when I make a big pot of turkey soup for everyone. It has come to be expected the "Aunt Priscilla" will make the soup...and so I do!
ReplyDeleteMenu in the works....waiting to see which grown families can come at which time! With 6 of the 14 children needing to work in family time with their in-love's we are doing lunch and supper on Thanksgiving and a supper on Friday! Just gives me more time with those I love best!
ReplyDeleteI have started planning in my head, and in another week, I will start planning on paper
ReplyDeleteI haven't really planned yet. The furtherest I've gotten is deciding our family will get together in the evening instead of during the day. Maybe we'll invite company, not sure on that one yet. We'll probably do sandwiches and maybe appetizers. The past year has been very hard, and thinking about the holidays doesn't really produce happy thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI shared on FB.
ReplyDeleteI have indeed except for deciding what kind of pies! LOL Turkey, deep fried! With the fixins too!
ReplyDeleteI shared on FB...7 years yesterday!
ReplyDeleteNo, I haven't planned yet! We're going to someone's house, so I need to ask what I can bring.
ReplyDeleteNo real planning yet. We're going to start wintering in Florida in an old trailer we have to put some big time sweat equity into. We will be very close to family and this is the first time in many years that this will happen so I need to get with them later this month when we get down there to make plans.
ReplyDeleteWe rotate the holidays (Thanksgiving, Easter and Christmas) between our home, my brother-in-law's house, and his younger son's place. The hostess make the main dish and one other thing, and everybody else either volunteers or "gets volunteered" to bring side dishes and dessert. I've found a recipe for a cheese cake, topped with pumpkin pie and then covered with a pecan pie topping (and I just gained five pounds writing about it!), so I'll take that and a vegetarian dish to share, and maybe homemade bread.
ReplyDeleteUm no haha I haven't done any planning yet... but I have thought about Christmas! Lol
ReplyDeleteThough I haven't planned anything yet, our meal is usually about the same, though we do mix it up some
No one except Hubby and I at home this year so we haven't decided what to do yet. Maybe chicken enchiladas!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Yes, I have been planning. I even bought a new roasting pan. We are really looking forward to the holidays!

We're still trying to decide if we're going to be here (with friends) or at my in-laws (with the whole 36 person family!). In the first case I'll make rolls and salad to bring. In the second case, I'll make sugar cookies and buy a fruit platter from a local store when we get there (4 hours away).
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to try a flexiclip but finances being what they are for us right now, it's not possible. So thanks for hosting this giveaway!

We live on the east coast, but most of my family is in the Pacific Northwest. However, we're fortunate to have friends nearby, so we have created a "Friendsgiving" to help alleviate the homesickness (they're from the northwest, too). As such, the menu is pretty planned - I always make the dressing in addition to several sides and pies!

(Sorry if you get two messages - my computer glitched when I tried to send the first one, so I'm not sure if it sent or not!)
My daughter and I started planning Thanksgiving dinner today. There will only be 5 of us, so we are planning something small this year.
ReplyDeleteSo excited about Thanksgiving. We usually have the same menu but it is the once a year favorites!
ReplyDeleteWe usually have at least 20 for Thanksgiving and this year we'll have another group of family over the Sunday after Thanksgiving. My menu changes little year after year so I don't do much planning. I learned to make candy acorns from pinterest so I'm excited about decorating the pies!!
ReplyDeleteWe have not started planning yet! Luckily I only have to make one dish as other family members will be making things as well.
