Rosebud loves words and I can count on finding her sitting somewhere everyday writing away. She has a book filled with short stories she has written and another of songs she has composed. Another of her favorites is creating menus and then sending invitations to the rest of the family.
One of her latest invitations made me chuckle and I'm sharing it today, with her permission.
Please come to the Kinsinger family restaurant this evening where we will be serving haspatchi style food. Please bring your chopsticks for eating and a bed sheet to use and share for napkins.
No purses or large handbags inside the restaurant for we are tired of our salt shakers and fancy napkins disappearing.
All customers will be asked to turn their pockets inside out before being allowed to leave the restaurant.
How she ever came up with that is beyond me, but I'm tucking it into a box along with the rest of the things the children created that I want to keep.

I had no idea how some folks got their restaurant-style salt & pepper shakers! O.O
ReplyDeleteI'm shocked. *giggles*
You go, Rosebud!
I love it ~ and yes, that's definitely a keeper. I especially like the turning the pockets inside-out. I guess she's thought of everything, even chopsticks. Let me know if she wants to borrow my fortune cookie maker. :)
ReplyDeleteThat Rosebud is an old soul.
ReplyDeleteThis is priceless. Have a great week Kinsinger Family :)
ReplyDeleteRosebud is one wise young lady. I agree, that is a definite keeper.
ReplyDeleteHow cute and original. It is great when kids have imaginations...or when parents encourage such and kids aren't only entertained by electronic devices!
ReplyDeleteVery entertaining. I'm always so happy to hear of children entertaining themselves and each other in ways other than videos, computers etc.

so cute. My daughter who is now 6, started playing restaurant when she was 3. She would make her own menus and hand them out. if she did not know how to write the word, she drew a picture of it on the menu. she would take our orders, then go to her kitchen set, cook the food, and deliver it to us, LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is so funny! Absolutely precious and I can see why you want to keep it.
ReplyDeleteHow precious! Definitely a keeper!

I think bringing a bed sheet for napkins would certainly save everyones clothes. Love the things kids come up with.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering where she heard of hibachi style food. We never had any.
ReplyDeleteThis is precious. She is a very wise little girl!
