Try taking Bioten for the hair loss. I lost a LOT of hair last year when my Thyroid stopped working and it has helped a lot with regrowth. You can get it really inexpensive at Target/Walmart.
Ditto on the Bioten. A friend got me started taking it when I complained about thinning hair. Since I've been taking it my hair is as long as it's ever been! I get mine from GNC.
Women's hair often becomes thicker when we're pregnant, so it's not unusual to lose that "extra" hair after the birth. I don't think you need to do anything about that unless the hair loss becomes excessive.
I have to agree with the Biotin the ladies above suggested. I get it at Walgreens on the bottom shelf called Hair, Skin, & Nails and it works well. It's frustrating for me more than anything else but I think it's pretty common unfortunately.
I love the Post It Notes! Have you had cold weather. I have been so afraid that is going to happen to our flowers, but so far. Which we were up to 83 yesterday. Crazy weather. until next time... nel
My crocuses were the only flowers blooming when the freeze hit and they are so hearty, they can take it! Lilac leaves backed right up and pussy willows hung on, too.
I've seen big raccoons like that. Scary critters at night!
I have two friends with babies who lost hair but it is slowly returning ... annoying, though. One was very noticeable all along the hairline. I, too am losing hair, but it's because I'm at that mental pause time of life... I may look into the Biotin myself! Thanks, friends, for the suggestion.
... and thanks for reminding me to check the back of my freezer, Joyful!
I think losing spring flowers to the cold would be devastating, though it's never happened to me before. Christmas cookies and other such food are the best when they still taste the same months later.
I've heard that Lugol's iodine is recommended for that. It's also good for you for many other things, including helping your thyroid. Google it & you'll find different interesting things to read about it. Hope this helps!
Ach! Two quick thoughts! My hair loss has finally slowed down enough that I don't think I'll end up bald after all.
Once when I was driving down an unlit country road late at night, something ran out in front of the car and I hit it. My husband woke up and asked what it was and all I could say was that it looked like a polar bear! It was a raccoon.
A happily married wife, and mother to four children, former Amish. I will be sharing memories of growing up Amish and the journey that brought me to where I am today.

ReplyDeleteMy Dad says that we (Me and my siblings) are the reason that he is bald!
