We had Sunbeam at the doctor today again, where they were pleased with how she healed and scheduled her next surgery to remove all the hardware from her leg.
We will all be so glad once that is done and the whole accident can seem like only a bad dream.
Making progress. So glad for you all.
ReplyDeleteModern medicine is just amazing to me! What a gift and yes, this will soon be a memory and Sunbeam will be jumping rope, running, and doing backflips in no time! Ok, maybe no backflips, but who knows?? ha ha ♥
ReplyDeleteI haven't followed your blog long enough to know what happened with Sunbeam, but I'm glad to know she's doing well.
ReplyDeleteamazing the things they can do, but it is kinda creepy seeing the hardware in her little leg! good luck to her.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to Sunbeam!

I'm so glad things are progressing nicely. I know what you mean it does seem like a bad dream. We went though a similar thing with one of our sons. He broke the Talus bone in his foot and couldn't walk on it for 6 months. He used crutches the whole time. After 5 surgeries, all is well with him...He's left with a slight stiffness in the mornings but he still can walk and play hockey.
ReplyDeleteLooking back now it seems like it all was 20 years ago instead of seven.
Glad you got good news!! I bet she is happy too.
ReplyDeleteSo happy Sunbeam got a good report. Mercy that is some hardware! I know all of you will be bouncing with joy when it's removed.
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like alot of hardware, doesn't it? I'm glad she's doing better.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marcia
Bless your precious little Sunbeam. When I read about the accident, I saw that you were concerned about the remorseful driver's feelings of guilt. I am struck by your witness of forgiveness.

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear that she's made great progress and is near the end of her ordeal.
