I remember eating Amish peanut butter! Our church friends were (mostly) ex-Amish, and occasionally brought that to church. I remember that my brothers and I always loved having it, but Dad and Mom thought it was too sweet. It was yummy when we had it, though!
I have also been forced to climb in my own window before... embarrassing even if no one did see! and I also want to know how to make Amish church peanut butter, please :)
It's a good thing I don't know how to lock my mother's car without removing the keys, because I left them in the car the other night and didn't realize until she told me to lock the car as we were walking away. Glad neither you nor I had to break anything!
A happily married wife, and mother to four children, former Amish. I will be sharing memories of growing up Amish and the journey that brought me to where I am today.

ReplyDeleteI would love to know how to make Amish peanut butter too. I love your blog, it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI can picture you wiggling in your window - been there, done that! Now my kids are old enough I can send *them* through! (Not that I ever need to.)
ReplyDeleteAnd yep, baby giggles are the best.
I love this post...the post-in notes are so cute. That Amish church peanut butter sounds so good. Recipe?
