I'm celebrating the release of A Big Year for Lily by having a giveaway where you could be the winner and receive your very own copy.
In this book you will be following Lily as she turns ten, which happens to be a big deal in most Amish communities. I won't say too much about it, except from the day book three arrived at our house Sunbeam could be found curled up somewhere reading at every spare moment. She would talk to me about everything she read even though she realizes I wrote it, and already know what happens.
A recent review of the first two books really made my day. You can read it here.
Now, to get to the giveaway. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment telling me what book you are currently reading.
For a second entry post a link to this giveaway on your blog or Facebook and come back and leave a comment telling me you did.
And for the first time, you get a chance to have a third entry by liking my Facebook page and leave another comment telling me you liked it.
I will be choosing a winner using Random Generator on Tuesday July 9th.
Giveaway is now closed and a winner has been chosen.
Not currently reading a book, but the last books, just a week ago, that I read were Ishmael & Self Raised by E.D.E.N. Southworth. They're excellent books complete with a moral-to-the-story and a plot that keeps the reader interested. The story is set in the 1800s and published by Lamplighter Publishing.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading the Lauraine Snelling series on Red River, about Norwegians who came to the land of North Dakota in 1880 to homestead. Wonderful series.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading Angels in the Fire by Dann Stadler. An amazing true story.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading Anne of Green Gables. I'm embarrassed to say that after having watched the miniseries for years, I never read the books growing up. I am really enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteCurrently reading A Perfect Day by Richard Paul Evans
ReplyDeleteI am currently rereading old Reader's Digests, how boring is that. I love hearing how Sunbeam is enjoying your book.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Fall of Giants by Ken Follet. I've enjoyed almost all of the books of his I picked up, but this one being based around WWI has been particularly pleasing as it falls in line with Downton Abbey that I watched while reading. :)
ReplyDeleteI am re-reading Growing Up Amish by Ira Wagler and Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis.
ReplyDeleteI am reading "The Memory Jar" by Tricia Goyer.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the release of your second book! I just finished reading Sanctuary by David and Beverly Lewis. Not sure what's up next.

classic allegory, the premise of which is Habakkuk 3:19).

Let's see, I'm re-reading "How to Love Your Kids on Purpose" because I need the refresher. The girls and I are listening to Little House in the Big Woods in the car.
