I'm not someone who can spend hours talking about the weather and spending time reading all the latest weather blogs but I could sympathize with this meteorologist and actually enjoyed listening to his predictions and I'm actually hoping he got to enjoy snow this weekend too.
The scenery on our drive to church was lovely. The roads in our area are narrow and very winding. We met several vehicles that were the unfortunate victim of hungry ditches which made us very thankful for our good 4-wheel drive vehicle.
This morning it's unseasonably warm again and the snow is melting fast but at least we got to enjoy a taste of winter over the weekend.
Beautiful pictures! I enjoy the beauty and peacefulness that blankets the landscape after a fresh snowfall.
ReplyDeleteWe still haven't gotten any snow in middle-Maryland. Rain and more rain, which I'm just as glad isn't snow, as I think an inch of rain equals ten inches of snow. Some of our grass is actually ready for its first mowing, but I'm afraid the riding mower would sink out of sight!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures! We've had a very unusual winter here in Toronto as well. Hardly any snow at all and very warm. There are already some crocuses and daffodils come up in our flower beds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteStill no sign of snow here. Still enjoying bits of Indian summer here and there. I wouldn't mind a least a day of snow. It creates such wonderful pictures for my camera to capture.
I love the pictures, especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have snow . It's almost like spring here where I live! Trees blooming and the spring-type weather.
Beautiful photos, peaceful and serene. Hope it doesn't get uncomfortable for you!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful pictures. We haven't enjoyed winter scenes like that this year. I have a very disappointed little boy because he hasn't been able to play in the snow all winter. I hope we get some of what you got! :)
ReplyDeleteI live in Florida so your photos were quite Refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous! It's 34 now here in St. Louis but supposed to get in the upper 40s today. I know people like the mild winters but come on, I want some pretty snow ~ not ice, just snow. :)
ReplyDeleteThose photos are beautiful. Every year, my children long for snow. Since we live on the South Carolina coast, they're usually doomed to disappointment. (But there was that time we went back to Ohio in January ...)
ReplyDeleteIt really does look pretty!
ReplyDeleteI kinda feel bad that I have not missed the snow this year. I have enjoyed our warm winter. On the other hand I truly do love living where all 4 seasons are present so I hope it is a bit more snowy next year.
Glad you got some - I know you were wishing!
