Losing Rosy for a little was frightening. Praise God I have never had to deal with that but my husband did at a store once with our daughter and it scared him half out of his wits. It was very hard as my son insisted on bringing all of his beloved toys. Of course I carried them all in my carry on bag. every few seconds you could hear his Buzz lightyear doll saying "To infinity...and beyond!"
