I had to look out the window ... it was not windy afterall; a few baby coons were playing with the chimes :) They visited every night (the whole family) and ate from the bird feeders.

jsJoannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17573975138493139053noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1260159263783917143.post-7468607971808736222010-08-05T09:29:09.070-04:002010-08-05T09:29:09.070-04:00How cute is that!? Good job - I get grossed out just squishing a spider. It looked fine just sitting in the yard, but it was day light and when it finally did move, it dragged its legs behind it. Thankfully, it never returned and I kept my son out of the yard until it rained. I was that petrified of any rabies spit. Silly maybe.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05961614872895512970noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1260159263783917143.post-82568077632801168272010-08-03T17:42:28.526-04:002010-08-03T17:42:28.526-04:00Cute, but cunning thieves of the hen house.Cute, but cunning thieves of the hen house.Angellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10863038386875513027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1260159263783917143.post-68636559885271775672010-08-03T17:09:22.344-04:002010-08-03T17:09:22.344-04:00The raccoon photo is cute, but you're smart to...The raccoon photo is cute, but you're smart to keep your distance.Janiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06509431336916594990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1260159263783917143.post-77719051441816216922010-08-03T16:46:08.898-04:002010-08-03T16:46:08.898-04:00WHAT A CUTE PICTURE.WHAT A CUTE PICTURE.Flowers of Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10187375652437021218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1260159263783917143.post-16114408100897504042010-08-03T15:59:18.290-04:002010-08-03T15:59:18.290-04:00One summer when I was a child we rented a cabin up...One summer when I was a child we rented a cabin up north for a vacation and actually fed the raccoons that came by at night. Hard to believe, I know! The owner did not and at all, and those coons were very tame. Not at all rabid. I can't believe Mahlon killed it with a pocket knife. Most of us would have ran for our lives!Monica https://www.blogger.com/profile/09434370272889356134noreply@blogger.com
