I have only a few 'G' related things in my idea books.
Goals I have multiple lists of goals sprinkled throughout my idea books. There are daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. And other life goals we hope to meet within the next five to ten years.
Grocery Lists There are always several grocery lists. One is the weekly list while the others are everything that will be needed for special occasions. Holidays, birthdays, and things I need for company meals.
Gifts I keep my ears and eyes open year round and when I discover something that would make the perfect gift for one of the children or LV I'll jot it down for a future birthday or Christmas gift.
I have lists like that, too! What a great idea to talk about ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't do well with lists, but I love the idea of keeping a list of gift ideas. Well I'll usually just impulse buy it and send it out. Don't really gift on special days, personally.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried bullet journaling? It is a list lover's greatest hits! I'm a list maker, too.
ReplyDeleteI never thought of including goals in an idea book. Then again, I try to avoid the word goals since it reminds me of painful school essays.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know your "commpany's coming" go to menu. One less preparation hassle.
ReplyDeleteA presents list is also a fine idea...when a birthday rolls around, usually I had thought of a gift for that person, maybe while using something myself that I like or find useful, or when out shopping. But it is months away from the birthday so I don't purchase, b/c I would undoubtedly forget where I store it come birthday time. All this time I could have simply jotted it down in the memo pad in my purse or even got tech savvy and listed it on my phone. Or a New List: Places where I have put future presents, summer clothes bought on clearance in winter, material for a craft, etc. Thanks.
interesting ideas. I never keep my goals list in an idea book because I don't have an idea book.
ReplyDeleteMy Christmas planner has a gifts section - I write things down as I hear friends and family members mention things they like (or not) and interests. It's also the place I keep a list of gifts I have already purchased and where I am storing them (in case I forget!).
