About A Joyful Chaos

Hi, and welcome to my chaotic world.
  • I am a happily married wife, and mother to three children all of whom you'll get to meet in the days to come.
  • I enjoy cooking, baking, and creating new recipes. I will also be sharing a lot of those in the the future.
  • I enjoy writing and have been fortunate to have some of my work published.
  • I also have a confession to make........ I was born Amish but have chosen a different lifestyle. I will be sharing a lot on that subject. All about growing up Amish. The journey from some of my earliest memories to where I am now.

  5. Looking forward to reading all your posts! I have always been fascinated by the Amish, and have always wanted to know what it must be like growing up as one, and also what it must be like to choose to leave the Amish lifestyle. This will be informative and interesting!

  6. Here I am as I said I would be. I just had to search back to your Amish postings. We have not been Amish but for about 25 years we were part of a very strict group. I think I need to write a book about our journey away from it. How God has blessed us through many trials! Looking forward to reading more. By the way some of our favorite books, me and my daughters are by Beverly Lewis on the Amish life.

Of course I am going to start at the beginning to read about your journey. We live very near Lancaster, Pa. and have come to make friends with a few of the Amish families from there and round here that we have met.
